Lu, a graduate of YIEA, came to visit us in Yokohama. After graduating from YIEA, Lu went on to study at a doctorate at Kobe University Graduate School, and has been working for a Japanese IT company since this year.
Q. How was your job-hunting experience?
A. It was tough. I sent my resume to over 100 companies and had interviews with over 30 companies.
Q. How is your job now?
A. I’m a systems engineer. There isn’t much overtime, so it’s not that tough.
Q. What are your future goals?
I am currently preparing to change jobs. I would like to change jobs to a company where I can work on data analysis programs, which is my specialty, and in the future, I would like to be able to say, “I am a data scientist.”
