It Snowed
The other day, when it snowed in Yokohama, one of our students took some photos and sent them to us.
Since it was Sunday, it seems that many people enjoyed making snowmen. Even the place at the shrine where people tie their omikuji (fortune slips) was covered with snow.
The daruma doll represents the saying “Nanakorobi yaoki” (fall down seven times, get up eight). It means never giving up, no matter how difficult or challenging things may be. It is a perfect message for all of our students.

Even the tied omikuji were completely white with snow

It’s cold, but let’s do our best!
