April 4th is Anpan Day. Anpan is a long-established bakery shop “Ginza Kimuraya” that made the original Anpan on April 4, 1875, It is derived from the fact that Their Majesties the Emperor served as tea confectionery when they had a cherry-blossom viewing at the Mito clan’s lower mansion in Mukojima, Tokyo.
