Two graduates came all the way from Kyoto
Graduates of YIEA, LIU(Left) and ZHANG(Right) visited YIEA.
Q.What’s happening with you right now?
I’m doing research on interlingual and intercultural studies in Kyoto University of Foreign Studies. Today I came here to ask students to answer a questionnaire. I chose “loan words” as the topic of the survey, as I thought that Katakana words were difficult to study.(LIU)
I studied calligraphy in Nara University of Education as a research student at first, but I wanted to work on more advanced research, so I moved to Kyoto Tachibana University to research on Japanese old writing.(ZHANG)
Q.How is your life in Kyoto?
We actually live in Shiga, but Kyoto is not far from there. The dialect in Kyoto is interesting, a little hard to understand, though. Although professors are strict, we are happy to spend a good school life with our friends.
We are looking forward to seeing the survey results and hope you guys will write a great thesis!
