ZERO Japanese

  • This course is intended for people who have no experience studying the Japanese language.
  • With an aim towards cultivating communicative ability, emphasis is placed on speaking and listening skills. Students learn the conversation ability necessary for real, everyday situations, and through exercises like speaking with Japanese people, improve their proficiency.
  • In addition to speaking, students are also taught how to read hiragana and katakana, as well as simple kanji.
  • Upon completing the course, students are fully equipped to take the General Japanese [Elementary 1] class.

Qualifications for enrollment

Applicants must have residence status in Japan, or be able to attain residence status (ex.temporary visitor, spouse of Japanese national, etc.)

Application and admission

4 times per year: spring, summer, fall and winter
For specific dates, please refer to the school calendar.

Class hours

4 weeks course
Three 45 minute classes per day, Monday through Friday.

Please submit all required documents either in person or by mail and make full payment by T/T.

  1. All bank transfers must be made in the name of the student.
  2. All school fees for the intended period of study must be paid in full before start of the course.All fees are not refundable regardless of circumstances.
  3. The registration fee is valid for 2 years.
  4. All students must be covered by insurances valid in Japan for the duration of their enrollment.
  5. For students who require them, the school will issue a “letter of admission” and a “course schedule”. The school will not be able to issue any other documents. Please confirm the necessary documents for visa application with the Japanese consulate in your home country before applying.
*Tuition will be adjusted in the event of changes to the consumer tax rate.
